IMEC is a new agricultural technology for growing crops on a special film called a hydrogel membrane, which is placed on a nutrient solution. The countless nano-sized pores in the unidirectional osmotic hydrogel membrane are used to effectively block pest eggs and pathogenic bacteria, so that crops can be safely produced even if the nutrient solution is polluted, greatly reducing the use of pesticides, while reducing the use of water and fertilizers. The loss is reduced to zero, and the planting is truly safe, green and environmentally friendly.
Due to the properties of the hydrogel, the nutrient solution that has been absorbed in the film will not be lost to the outside even if squeezed. In order to absorb the nutrient solution in the film, crops grow a large number of capillary roots to efficiently absorb water and fertilizers, and cultivate crops with high sugar content and high nutritional value.

Yangxiang Tomato
